Version 1.6, known as The Horse Update, was released on July 1, 2013. It added horses, leads, coal blocks, carpets, and resource packs. Mojang mainly focused on bug fixes and included a fun easter egg: mobs named “Dinnerbone” or “Grumm” appear upside down.
